Cerner Millennium EMR Informatics - FT 100% Remote
Morgan Hunter Healthcare is looking for a Sr. Oracle/Cerner Millennium EMR Informatics SME - FT Remote. This is a full time 100% remote position.
The Cerner Millennium EMR Informatics will have integration and architect experience and is an expert in many aspects Oracle/Cerner. This role supports pharmacists, nurses, clinicians, village operations, behavioral health, etc. as a resource for requests for improvements. Candidate will demonstrate independent decision making as appropriate in evaluation of requests for system improvements and determines feasibility and advisability of system changes. The incumbent will be the initial remote support for all EMR related calls. They will triage and escalate to internal EMR team or escalate to Support as necessary. This individual will have the experience in identifying common Cerner issues and gaps in training and education. The position will require support in creating knowledge articles to address the need, and coordinate with the department and EMR team to bridge the gaps. The EMR Informatics may be expected to complete other duties as assigned by the EMR Administrator.
Minimum Education: Associate Degree, Bachelor’s Degree preferred, Clinical Background preferred.
Minimum Experience:
• Minimum of five (5) years Oracle/Cerner Millennium experience in a healthcare setting.
• Demonstrate ability and experience facilitating intradepartmental collaboration and communication.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
• Excellent customer service
• Exhibit the highest values of excellence, integrity, and motivation.
• Excellent communications skills, ability to communicate with staff at all levels of the practice as well as with support.
• Decisive, flexible, problem solver, results oriented, with the ability and desire to achieve goals quickly.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Cerner Millennium applications such as, but not limited to, PowerChart, PMOffice, Schapptbook, FirstNet, RevenueCycle, HNAUser, and other non-Cerner advanced clinical system products.
• Understand hospitals and the importance of technology to improve patient care.
• Microsoft Office suite

• Maintains positive, effective relationships with leadership and colleagues.
• Upon completions of individual assignments will support co-workers and other teams by providing assistance with their tasks and outstanding projects. Works with co-workers to accomplish common organizational goals.
General Responsibilities:
• Tier I support for troubleshooting problems
• Will determine if the particular issue is to be handled internally, or handled by the vendor.
• Report writing a bonus
