With a strong core team and top management’s ongoing advisors, we’re looking for people who are passionate about building the future of the mobile app ecosystem at a great company.The ideal candidate will be working with and building out the growth team to have a considerable impact, where everyone is a stakeholder in the company’s success.Responsibilities:Plan and execute yearly and quarterly strategies;Organise and maintain the OKRs system for the overall business unit to be able to achieve the revenue targets planned; Own PL for the Gaming business unit and be accountable for strategic decisions on business strategy, staffing, resource allocation, organizational structure, and overall performance;Understand the “big picture” of the business; actively make decisions that balance tradeoffs and keep in mind quality and risk;Be the vision holder for the business, ensuring alignment across the organization and with external partners;Create a culture of individual discipline, accountability, and open communication;Tackle the obstacles. When roadblocks come up, you will be the “go-to” person for removing impediments. Identify and remove any obstacles that block the progress of your team;Attract, develop, inspire, and lead high performers, creating a culture that motivates and retains the world-class talent required for success;Look for new opportunities in developing areas of the real gaming/competition games market, using advanced technologies, and resources as well as a deep understanding of the ever-evolving market;Leading core teams of Product, Monetization, User Acquisition, and ASO.Requirements:The successful candidate will have a strong mix of creative, technical, innovative, and managerial experience from the real gaming/competitive games space;5+ years experience managing PLs; prior leadership experience, including significant exposure to C-suite;Strong record and accomplishment overseeing and launching casual games;Adaptable with the ability to collaborate and efficiently lead a mildly distributed team;Sees the big picture and can articulate it to others while also developing, inspiring, and leading high performers within the group;Enjoys an interactive and agile work environment and collaborates well with various work styles;Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, the ability to project manage and work effectively under deadlines and in complex business environments.Nice to have:Degree in marketing, analytics, or related field;MBA/Master’s degree in a management, technical or finance field is preferred but not required.With an outstanding product and a mission that excites and inspires, Appodeal offers a unique opportunity to make an impact while being part of an amazing team.Join us and help shape the future of mobile app success!Originally posted on Himalayas
