Center-Based Behavior Technician - Entry Level

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Center-Based Behavior Technician to provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a supportive and inclusive environment. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in helping children develop critical skills, such as language, communication, social, and school readiness behaviors, under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings, utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training
Follow prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols, as outlined in client's individualized treatment plan
Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior
Assist with parent and caregiver training, in line with client's individualized treatment and behavior reduction protocols
Ensure documentation is completed on time and following established procedures
Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress, as instructed by BCBA/BC
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment
Assist BCBA/BC in preparation of client materials, behavior reduction assessments, and skills acquisition
Requirements:
Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
Must be at least 18 years of age
Reliable transportation and, in some cases, proof of driver's license and valid car insurance
Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification, along with a TB test, if not already completed in the past year
Ability to physically perform the job, including lifting up to 50lbs and standing for long periods
Strong attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and excellent communication skills
Positive attitude, patience, and emotional control in a fast-paced environment
