About the position

As a CDL Driver at Swire Coca-Cola, you will play a vital role in the distribution of our iconic beverage brands. This position requires you to operate a commercial motor vehicle, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of beverages to various retail locations. You will be responsible for following predetermined delivery routes and schedules, adapting to traffic and weather conditions to maintain on-time deliveries. Safety is paramount, and you will adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure the well-being of yourself and others on the road. In addition to driving, you will be tasked with loading and unloading beverage products using proper handling techniques to prevent damage. You may also be required to stock products and maintain back rooms or stock areas as requested. Conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle is essential to identify any maintenance or safety issues. You will utilize electronic devices or paper documentation to confirm deliveries, track inventory, and maintain accurate records, collaborating with the logistics team to resolve any discrepancies. Your role will also involve maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle, interacting professionally with store personnel, and establishing positive relationships with store managers and staff. A valid CDL-A license is required, and you will complete all assigned training and attend meetings as necessary. This position offers a competitive wage of $28 per hour, with shifts starting at 4:00 AM and running until the route is completed, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities
• Safely operate and maneuver commercial delivery vehicles to transport beverages to designated retail locations.

• Follow predetermined delivery routes and schedules, ensuring on-time and accurate deliveries while adapting to various traffic and weather conditions.

• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure the well-being of yourself, other road users, and the cargo.

• Safely load and unload beverage products utilizing proper handling techniques to prevent damage or breakage.
,
• May stock beverage products and maintain back rooms/back stock areas as requested by the store or management.
,
• Pick up and return pallets, shells and assigned product at each delivery location.
,
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify and report any maintenance or safety issues.
,
• Utilize electronic devices or paper documentation to confirm deliveries, track inventory, and maintain accurate records.
,
• Collaborate with logistics team to ensure accurate inventory counts and resolve any discrepancies.
,
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and dispatchers to provide updates on delivery progress, delays, or issues.
,
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle, both internally and externally.
,
• Interact professionally with store personnel and establish positive relationships with store managers and staff.
,
• Maintain valid CDL-A license.
,
• Complete all assigned training.
,
• Attend meetings as assigned and assist with special projects and events.

Requirements
• High School Diploma (or GED) or equivalent experience.

• Valid CDL-A license.
