CDI Specialist - Make $1800-$2200/Week
A leading healthcare organization is seeking a CDI Specialist. This fully remote position involves conducting audits, identifying areas for improvement, and providing recommendations to enhance documentation accuracy and regulatory adherence.
ā¢ *Key Responsibilities:**
ā¢ Perform concurrent inpatient CDI reviews with a focus on accurate DRG assignment, CC/MCC capture, and SOI/ROM optimization
ā¢ Issue compliant physician queries to resolve conflicting, missing, or unclear documentation and escalate as needed
ā¢ Reconcile working DRGs against final coded DRGs in collaboration with HIM coders
ā¢ Support clinical validation and documentation accuracy initiatives
ā¢ Analyze documentation trends and contribute to provider education efforts
ā¢ *Required Qualifications**
ā¢ Active RN (Compact or Texas) OR RHIA
ā¢ *One required certification:**
ā¢ CCDS, CCDS-O, CDIP, CCS, or CPC
