Responsibilities • Must have or secure and maintain appropriate state adjuster license(s) and continuing education credits • Handle personal property claims requiring outside field investigations and/or inspections • May use a company claims office location as their base operations, or they may work out of their homes • Handle business interruption (BI) features in conjunction with BI specialists • Work within specific limits and authority on assignments of moderate technical complexity • Investigate, analyze, evaluate, and negotiate personal claims of minimal to moderate complexity • May handle low complexity commercial claims • Be responsible for all aspects of each claim, including informal hearings, arbitrations, and small claims litigation • Implement and coordinate effective management techniques to mitigate loss and expense payments • Maintain a high level of productivity, confidentiality, and customer service • May be required to have and maintain sufficient home-based internet connection Requirements • 2 years of experience in claims processing or related field • Functional knowledge and skills reflective of a fully competent practitioner • Strong organizational skills • Effective time management abilities • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Proficient technology skills Benefits • Health insurance • Incentive and recognition program • 401K contribution Apply tot his job
