Cashier/Customer Service

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while efficiently handling transactions. Your ability to engage with customers and assist them with their shopping experience will be crucial to maintaining a positive store atmosphere. Sole Soups began serving our locally sourced and hand-crafted products in local LA and Ventura County Farmers Markets before opening our first retail location in Agoura Hills, 2016. Our second location opened in Thousand Oaks, 2018. The third location in Calabasas opened earlier this year, and as we continue to expand our brand! We pride ourselves on consistently prepared premium/gourmet foods: Soups, sauces and more. We serve healthy, tasty and convenient products, in sparkling clean stores, with outstanding customer service to our loyal clientele. In this role you will: • Warmly greet customers and provide friendly efficient assistance with deep product knowledge • Maintain register and handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed • Process customer purchases using POS systems efficiently and accurately • Assist in stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels to ensure products are readily available for customers • Maintain a clean and organized checkout, preparation and customer areas Ideal experience for long term success includes: • Previous experience in a grocery store, restaurant or fast casual retail food environment is preferred but not required • Familiarity with cash registers, POS systems, and cash handling practices is a big plus • Basic math skills are necessary for processing retail transactions accurately • A friendly demeanor, teamwork and strong communication skills are required We have an opportunity for successful team members to grow professionally as we continue to expand our operations.
