Job Summary
Maintains days outstanding at or below established organization standards. Performs duties of billing, collection, customer service, and/or support service in a timely accurate manner. Maintains public relations with patients and third party payors in accordance with company excellence.
Essential Functions

ā¢ Performs duties related to billing, collection, customer services and support services.
ā¢ Maintains and fosters effective public relations with patient and public in accordance with service excellence.
ā¢ Identifies trends and communicates problems to management.
ā¢ Maintains established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program and safety standards.
ā¢ Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory/Management Responsibilities
ā¢ This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.
Minimum Requirements
ā¢ Education - High School diploma or equivalent OR post-high school diploma/highest degree earned
ā¢ Experience - Two (2) years of billing, collections and/or customer service experience.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
ā¢ Completes billing and collections training related to Medicare, Medicaid and other insurance.
ā¢ Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, in-service meetings, current literature and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest trends in field of expertise.
ā¢ Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD9 and CPT code training.
ā¢ Customer service skills preferred
