Position Summary As a Cash Applications Representative you play an integral role delivering cost-effective solutions for our patients by posting accurate and timely payments and adjustments. In this role you will be responsible for posting payments and adjustments for insurances and patients, analyzing insurance explanation of benefits and patient checks, processing credit card and electronic check transactions, obtaining the necessary documentation required for posting, and researching and resolving unapplied cash. To be successful in this role you will utilize attention to detail while working directly with patients, Explanation of Benefits and Remittance; display analytical skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment and execute alpha and numeric keyboarding while maintaining quality and productivity requirements. We offer instructor led training programs to set you up for success, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package that begins the first of the month after your start date and includes medical, dental and vision insurance as well as supplemental benefits, retail discounts and paid time off. Additionally, we offer a flexible work schedule, starting your 8-hour day between 6:00am* and 9:30am ending your day by 6:00pm. *some locations require a 7:00am start time. Required Qualifications 1+ year of healthcare related cash posting, billing, or data entry experience in a professional or educational setting or banking/accounting data entry experience. Preferred Qualifications Cash posting experience for pharmacy, medical, dental or vision receivables, knowledge of healthcare reimbursement and/or explanation of benefit experience. Education Verifiable High School Diploma or GED required Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $17.00 - $28.46 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. Our people fuel our future.
