About the role

The Get Hired Career Coach facilitates coaching sessions and supports the day-to-day delivery of Skill crush’s career-focused job placement program during assigned hours. This is a hands-on role that combines live instruction, career coaching, and light program operations to support students through all stages of the job search.

You’ll work directly with students to facilitate 1:1 and group coaching sessions, ensure a consistent and high-quality program experience, and keep delivery aligned with defined goals and outcomes. This role is focused on execution, student experience, and accountability rather than high-level strategy.
Key responsibilities

Program delivery and instruction
• Deliver scheduled coaching sessions and workshops, supporting a consistent and high-quality learner experience.
• Facilitate live 1:1 resume reviews, mock interviews, and group coaching sessions aligned with the Get Hired curriculum.
• Maintain clear schedules, session cadence, and communication with students.
• Track student participation, engagement, and progress using defined tools and systems (including Hub Spot).

Career coaching and student support
• Set clear expectations, assess student readiness, and build supportive coaching relationships focused on job-search outcomes.
• Guide students through personalized job-search action plans, including resume reviews, mock interviews, and practical preparation.
• Monitor progress, provide structured feedback, and support students through challenges with empathy and accountability.

Program operations and documentation
• Follow established session formats and document key notes or insights after coaching sessions
• Provide timely session notes and participation updates to support internal reporting
• Share feedback and best practices with the program team to help improve the learner experience
We’re looking for someone who…
• Has experience in career coaching, teaching, professional development, or student support, and enjoys working directly with adult learners or job seekers.
• Has facilitated or supported coaching, training, or learning experiences in an education, workforce development, or B2C learning environment.
• Is familiar with job searching, career transitions, and basic HR or recruiting concepts.
• Is comfortable facilitating live 1:1 sessions and group workshops in a remote setting.
• Can track progress and outcomes using tools or systems (CRM or LMS experience is a plus).
• Has exposure to tech or tech-adjacent environments.
• Brings an empathetic, accountability-driven coaching style, with strong communication and emotional intelligence.
• Is organized, adaptable, and able to support students through the ups and downs of the job search.
