Care Support Worker Wakefield Based ID-1539 – Amazon Store

Assisted Lives is a well-established and experienced local provider of high quality and bespoke Personalised Care & Support Services in the Wakefield District and surround areas.
As a Support Worker you will be part of a wider friendly team working together to responsibly ensure that all our Service Users receive the highest level of care and support both within their homes and when out in the community.
We have both full and part time positions available with flexible working hours
Our services include but are not limited to:
· Personal Care & Social Inclusion· Live-in Care & Sitting Services· Shopping and Preparing Meals· Meals Out & Social Activities· Escorted Day Trips (Church, bingo, gym, cafe etc)· Escorted Short & Long Term Breaks· Cleaning & Laundry
Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
· To undertake, with guidance and support, the tasks necessary to enable Service Users to maintain everyday living skills and to help acquire new skills
· To help Service Users make full use of the community resources and facilities such as supermarkets, places of worship or leisure facilities

To help provide the personal care and supervision required by Individual Service users
Further Job Activities & Tasks
· Assist in the preparation and implementation of a range of daily activities as directed by the senior Assisted Lives staff or by Service Users as part of an agreed care plan
· Assist meeting the personal needs and domestic care of our Service Users including but not limited to assistance with eating, toileting, bathing, shopping and other household tasks
· Provide and detailed written reports or records that are required by the Assisted Lives Support worker/manager
· Ensuring all records are maintained
We are seeking to recruit with the following criteria:

No experience is necessary as comprehensive full training will be provided.
What we are looking for:
· NVQ level 2 or a Diploma in Health & Social Care is desirable but NOT essential
· Full UK Driving License is essential
· Commitment to providing excellent above and beyond care
