Care Mgmt & Utilization Review Assistant
Join the Care Management team at St. Cloud Hospital supporting the Case Managers and Social Workers on discharge planning needs. This role is 100% work from home.
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for providing administrative support to Care Management and Utilization Review departments. Functions as a communication link for the team and assists with coordinating discharge activity for hospitalized patients. Coordinates the payor contact process to assure required and requested information is provided. Utilizes a variety of professional skills such as computer/word processing and database entry/reporting. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Supports and demonstrates family centered care principles when interacting with patients and their families, coworkers, customers, and outside vendors.
Schedule
Part-time | 40 hours every two weeks | Remote
Monday through Friday 8am-4:30pm set schedule
Pay and Benefits:
Starting pay begins at $19.42 per hour and increases with experience
Pay range: $19.42 - $29.14 per hour

Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Graduate of post high school administrative/secretarial training program, including word processing required
Experience:
3 years of health care experience required
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of database functions
Knowledge of medical terminology
1-2 years of payer relations
