Temple’s Pulmonary Hypertension/Right Heart Failure and Chronic Thromboembolic Pulmonary Hypertension (CTEPH) program has experienced significant growth. It seeks an additional faculty member to help further build on the program's success. Temple’s Heart and Vascular Institute has a long history of clinical excellence, particularly in the treatment of all forms of pulmonary hypertension and associated hemodynamic derangements, including right heart failure. Successful candidates will have an M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent, be board-certified in cardiology or pulmonary, with clinical training and experience in treating Pulmonary Hypertension. In addition to educating Temple’s medical students, residents, and fellows, it is strongly preferred that applicants be interested in novel research in pulmonary hypertension and right heart function. Candidates must have academic credentials that qualify them for a faculty appointment at the minimum level of Assistant Professor and have or be eligible to receive an unrestricted Pennsylvania State Medical License.Faculty Appointment, Benefits/Compensation
Annual compensation shall be determined based on the selected individual's experience and qualifications.
