Cardiac Triage RN– REMOTE The Cardiovascular Center of Florida Orlando, FL | Full-Time | 100% Remote Employment Type: Direct Hire Schedule: 40 hours/week, shifts available anytime between 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM (Mon–Fri) Work Setting: Fully Remote – Outpatient Cardiology Benefits: Health insurance, PTO, 401(k) About the Role The Cardiovascular Center of Florida (CVCFL), one of the state’s fastest-growing outpatient cardiology groups, is seeking an experienced Triage Registered Nurse to support our providers with after-hours cardiac triage. This position is fully remote and ideal for a highly skilled cardiac RN who thrives in independent clinical decision-making. You will play a critical role in evaluating urgent cardiac concerns, coordinating with on-call physicians, and ensuring seamless continuity of care across our outpatient network. Key Responsibilities • Provide after-hours phone triage for cardiac patients and hospital staff. • Assess symptoms, clinical urgency, and appropriate level of care. • Communicate directly with on-call cardiologists and escalate cases appropriately. • Document all triage encounters accurately and in real time. • Support patient care continuity across CVCFL’s multiple outpatient clinics. • Deliver calm, compassionate guidance while working independently in a remote setting. Qualifications • Active RN license in the State of Florida. • Absolute Must cardiac triage • 3+ years of recent clinical experience in cardiology, critical care, or emergency medicine. • Prior phone triage experience with cardiac patients required. • Strong clinical assessment, judgment, and communication skills. • Ability to work a consistent after-hours schedule (5 PM–8 AM) for a total of 40 hours/week. • Comfortable working fully remotely with minimal supervision.
