Capital Project Engineer
Job Description:
The Project Engineer is committed to upholding the highest standards of environmental protection and health and safety for employees, customers, and the communities involved in our operations and product transportation. This role focuses on the development and execution of capital projects, ensuring their timely, economical, and safe completion with support from both in-house and external design/engineering teams as needed.
Key responsibilities include comprehensive project management, encompassing routine project updates and forecasting, cost control, schedule adherence, change management, documentation maintenance, database management, and project close-out and archiving. The Project Engineer will effectively communicate design and technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through clear and concise reports, memos, design documents, and presentations
Experience:
Minimum 10 yrs of experience in an applicable engineering discipline
Must have experience working inside a chemical plant
Experienced in: vessel installations, purchasing exchangers, column replacement, reactor installations, stack replacements, absorption replacements, storm water tank rehabilitation
