A minimum of an Associate’sdegree requiredfor CSMs assigned to a two-year campus or a community collegeStrong interpersonal skills (including ability to minister to diverse ethnic communities and faculty)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated problem solving skillsFamiliarity with word processing, presentation, email, and spreadsheetsoftwareWORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThe CSM position leads ministry in a college campus environment. A designated office space may or may not be available. The CSM is required to travel to on-campus and off- campus sites as appropriate. Off-campus travel includes, but is not limited to: student ministry conferences, Ministry Partnership Development meetings, and InterVarsity- sponsored training sessions, meetings, and conferences. The CSM is regularly required to communicate with others, and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, etc.Pay Range: $44,016.00 - $58,680.00 per yearPay: This position is funded through personal fundraising. Accordingly, compensation will vary based on the ability of the individual to secure a donor team to fund the cost of his/her salary. The anticipated salary range for this position on a full-time basis (40 hours/week) is dependent on a variety of factors, including location and cost of living.
