In Papua New Guinea , PanAust holds a 100 per cent interest in the Frieda River Limited Copper-Gold project, which is a transformative pre-development integrated mining, renewable energy and infrastructure project. The complete Frieda River Project represents a nation building opportunity for Papua New Guinea and a transformative sustainable development opportunity for the Sepik region. The Project will help build stronger and more viable communities by establishing necessary public infrastructure, generating skilled employment, and creating business opportunities for local people. In Laos , PanAust owns a 90 per cent interest in Phu Bia Mining Limited with the Government of Laos owning the remaining 10 per cent. Phu Bia Mining owns and operates PanAust’s two award winning operations – Phu Kham Copper-Gold and Ban Houayxai Gold-Silver, both located in Xaisomboun Province, 120km north of Vientiane. In Chile , PanAust holds a 66 per cent interest in the Inca de Oro Copper-Gold Project through a Chilean incorporated joint venture company, Inca de Oro S. A. The Role We are currently recruiting for experienced team members to join us on a Fixed-Term basis for a period of Six (6) months to support our Drill Program. We are seeking an experienced Camps Services Supervisor to join our Site Services team on a Fixed Term basis at the Frieda River Project . Reporting to the Site Services Superintendent, this position is responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of camp accommodation, catering, and associated services across multiple Frieda River Limited operational camps. The role ensures consistent service standards, workforce wellbeing, and continuity of essential services while balancing competing demands, limited resources, and the constraints of a remote operating environment. Key Responsibilities The Camp Services Supervisor is responsible for the effective delivery of camp accommodation, catering, and associated services across all assigned camps, including: Manage and oversee day-to-day camp services operations across multiple camps, ensuring consistent standards of accommodation, catering, hygiene, and amenities. Coordinate and prioritise staffing, resources, and service delivery between camps to meet changing occupancy and operational requirements. Oversee catering operations across all camps, ensuring food safety, hygiene, menu planning, storage, preparation, and service meet company and regulatory standards. Ensure accommodation, offices, communal areas, ablutions, and recreational facilities are maintained in a clean, safe, and habitable condition. Manage housekeeping, laundry, linen, and cleaning services in accordance with approved schedules and hygiene standards. Coordinate room allocations and occupancy management across camps. Ensure camp grounds and recreational facilities are maintained through inspections and maintenance reporting systems. Manage camp services assets, inventories, and consumables, including stock control and periodic stocktakes. Prepare and provide weekly and monthly operational reports as required. Supervise, mentor, and support camp services personnel and deputies to ensure effective on-site supervision at each camp. Coordinate mobilisation, demobilisation, and induction of camp services personnel. Liaise with Logistics and Maintenance to ensure timely provision of supplies, equipment, and maintenance support. Manage camp services contractors where engaged, ensuring performance, safety, and compliance requirements are met. Implement contingency arrangements to maintain essential services during staff shortages, logistics disruption, or demand surges. We are looking for candidates who possess: Bachelor’s degree in Tourism & Hospitality, Hospitality Management, or a related field Minimum 5 years’ of experience in camp management, hospitality, camp housekeeping, facility management or hotel operations, often with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and inventory/property management systems. Experience working in remote field-based locations, preferably on roster.
