Camp Office Administrative Specialist in Kensington MD
ESF Camps & Experiences is seeking an Administrative Specialist to join their team at The Academy of the Holy Cross in Kensington, MD. The role involves handling camp-related customer service and administrative tasks to ensure a positive experience for campers and their families.ResponsibilitiesServe as a point person for ESF families; respond to inquiries in person as well as over the phoneGreet campers and their guardians in the camp office; collect lunches and transition campersAnswer telephones and transfer calls to appropriate team membersCall camp families to confirm enrollment or discuss camper needsSupport summer sales initiatives; inform new and existing families of enrollment opportunitiesPerform general clerical duties such as copying, mailing, and filingEnsure that the camp office is clean, organized, and well-maintainedOpen, sort, and distribute or respond to incoming correspondence including mail and emailMaintain inventory and complete assigned paperworkAssist families in enrolling their campers using the CRM databaseSupport summer sales initiatives; inform new and existing families of enrollment opportunitiesUpdate camper records and input pertinent information into the databaseWork effectively and collaborate with co-workers including other on-site Administrative Specialists, Nurses, Admissions and Customer Engagement Coordinators located at ESF’s Headquarters office, Site Director, and leadership teamEnsure the safety and well-being of campers with emphasis on positive behavior and effective group management. Promptly report any concerns to the Site DirectorSupervise campers, while fostering a positive and safe environmentDemonstrate ESF Core Values & Code daily, from 'Gratitude' to 'Bring It' dailyModel the ESF Virtues of Character (Gratitude, Respect, Trustworthiness, Effort, Kindness, Positivity, Resilience, Community) in camp dailyAdhere to all company policiesMaintain clear, concise, and engaging communication with campers, families, peers, and our leadership teamPush/pull, lift, and carry a minimum of thirty-five (35) pounds across campus.
