Calypso Integration and Build Consultant

Location: 100% Remote
We are seeking an experienced Calypso Integration & Build Consultant to support the design, development, integration, and deployment of Calypso-based trading and risk management solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Calypso architecture, system integration, and build/release management within capital markets environments.
Responsibilities:
ā¢ Design, develop, and implement integrations between Calypso and upstream/downstream systems (trading platforms, market data providers, settlement systems, accounting, etc.).
ā¢ Configure and customize Calypso modules including Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, Risk, and Collateral Management.
ā¢ Manage application builds, deployments, environment setup, and release management across development, QA, UAT, and production environments.
ā¢ Develop and maintain interfaces using Java, APIs, messaging services, and middleware tools.
ā¢ Support data migration, system upgrades, and performance tuning initiatives.
ā¢ Troubleshoot integration issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide timely resolution.
ā¢ Work closely with business stakeholders, developers, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless implementation.
ā¢ Prepare technical design documents, integration specifications, and operational runbooks.
ā¢ Ensure adherence to SDLC, change management, and regulatory compliance standards.
Required Skills:
ā¢ 7+ years of experience working with Calypso in capital markets environments.
ā¢ Strong hands-on experience in Calypso integration and technical configuration.
ā¢ Proficiency in Java and SQL.
ā¢ Experience with APIs, web services, and messaging frameworks (e.g., JMS).
ā¢ Strong understanding of financial products, including derivatives, fixed income, FX, and money markets.
ā¢ Experience with Unix/Linux environments and scripting.
ā¢ Knowledge of build tools, version control systems (Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
ā¢ Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
