Production Associate ? Cable Assembly (Entry Level)
Job Summary
To perform Production / Cable Assembly assignmentsusing Internal and External Procedural Standards. To assemble a variety of Wire/Harness andCable Assemblies.
Essential Functions
? Mustposses a working knowledge of Electrical/Electronic component identification.
? Possessa basic working knowledge of a variety of measuring devices, i.e., ruler/scale,etc.
? Haveability to interpret and follow Assembly Drawings and both Internal and CustomerDocumentation.
? Attentionto detail is imperative.
? Mustbe a team player and have the ability to communicate clearly and interactfavorably with others.
Responsibilities
? Assemblecomponent parts into completed assemblies or subassemblies.
? Performbasic visual inspection on materials and final assembly.
? Obtainnecessary information/training from the Production Lead Person, writtenprocedures &/or customer supplied documentation &/or samples.
? Someresponsibilities may include machine and hand crimping of electrical terminals,basic soldering of wire connections and connectors, assembly ofhousings/connectors, etc.
? Demonstrateknowledge of quality standards.
Additional Functions
? Clean(wipe tables, sweep floor, etc.) personal workspace and surrounding work area(s).
? Assistin maintaining and organizing facility cleanliness and organization.
Knowledge, Skills and Ability
? Knowledgeof Electronics components and their appearance and usage/application.
? Abilityto clearly follow directions and procedures.
? Goodorganizational skills.
? Ableto lift up to 50 lbs.
Education, Credentials and Experience
? Minimum High School Diploma
? General Equivalency Diploma.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
