PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing software products within the Precisely Location Intelligence line of business. You will have ownership of the code base and all related build processes and automation. You will work within a team using agile methods to implement and deliver project requirements and will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Other duties may be assigned
• Develop, enhance, and maintain software products in the geocoding and addressing domain
• Ability analyze and solve complex software problems
• Create and maintain C/C++ code base
• Effectively use Git for building and managing code
• Participate in code reviews
• Work within an agile Scrum team in the role of software engineer

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
• 7 - 10+ years experience in software engineering
• Proven experience in C/C++ programming language
• Understanding and implementation of automated software testing and Quality Assurance methodologies
• Self-motivated and have ability to work independently and with a team
• Strong communication skills
• Must be hard working, team oriented, creative, cooperative, and an exceptional problem-solver
• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
