We are now looking for a hands-on Senior Frontend Engineer to join Betsson as a Team Lead for the Brand Experience Area. The WowThe Team Lead assists the Engineering Manager with building high-performance teams by leading a team of highly talented people, ensuring each individual has the right environment and platform to succeed in their career as well as fostering a healthy team spirit and culture. To effectively lead a team, the Team Lead needs to have an active role as a hands-on member of the team, participate actively in the team’s activities and take ownership of the team’s performance. A TASTER OF WHAT YOU WILL BE INVOLVED WITH..People management, including motivation, taking part in recruiting and onboarding, performance reviews, personal development planning and 1-to-1Close communication with POs, Architects and stakeholders to discuss and implement business requirementsProduct development to meet business’s needs and implement components according to the modern software development environment (cloud-based platforms, microservice architecture, etc.)Proactive position in solution development, processes improvementsTaking part in the decision-making process in design or improvement of application architecture, solution development, architecture and code reviewSuggesting technology or approach or solution, discuss it together with the team and decide which technology to useOur teams are cross-functional and all team members focus on not only doing their own tasks but also work together with and assist other team membersWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR..Experience in software development for more than 5 yearsAt least 1 year of management experienceAt least 3 years of experience working with Agile methodologyStrong leadership and communication skillsAgile mindset, business goals orientationDevelopment background in building highly scalable, containerized services and applicationsGood understanding modern web technology (JavaScript, Typescript, React, Angular), familiarity with .NET Core, C#, messaging systems (Rabbit MQ) and in-memory databases (Redis, MS SQL)WHAT DOES OUR TECH STACK LOOK LIKE?At Betsson, we pride ourselves on adaptability and keeping up with the latest technologies.
