Business Systems Graduate - ERP Support
About the position As a Business Systems Graduate in the Verizon Ireland Global Supply Chain, Sourcing and Sustainability group, you will play a key role in providing operational support and resolving application issues. This position involves collaboration across various teams and third-party partners to ensure effective operational resolutions. You will engage in application support, business analytics, systems architecture, quality assurance, and project management, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the organization. Responsibilities • Contribute to operational support for the organization and resolve application issues. • Work in a cross-functional environment to facilitate operational resolutions. • Partner with Global Technology Services for assistance with application functionality issues. • Conduct data analyses and provide data-driven recommendations. • Offer consultative insights into business performance and suggest operational improvements. • Implement and oversee analytical methodologies. • Identify and resolve application errors and functionality gaps. • Test fixes, enhancements, or new releases prior to end-user acceptance. • Create documentation for upcoming functionality releases. • Deliver training to end users. Requirements • Graduated with a degree in Business Information Systems, Technology Management, Business with Computing, or a related discipline. • Related co-op or internship experience with proven project and work experience. • Exposure to enterprise software systems. • Strong organizational skills. • Experience using Google G-Suite Applications and Microsoft Office Applications. Nice-to-haves • Exposure, knowledge, or proficiency in SAP application suites (S4 HANA, Ariba, IBP) or related systems. • Experience in system testing. • Good team player, well organized, and self-starter. • Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment. • Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to multitask.
