Position Title: Business Systems Analyst (Contract)Location:Preferred: Pittsburgh, PA Remote: Acceptable if not located in PATravel: Possible quarterly travel for planning if remoteWork Schedule:Days: Monday FridayHours: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM EST (flexible)Time Zones: EST or CSTContract Details:Contract-to-hire potential (candidates must be open to converting to full-time)Extension: PossibleTeam & FunctionGroup: Digital Transformation Online Banking & Employee-facing Lending SystemsProjects: 75% ongoing initiatives, 25% new initiativesTeam Composition: 4 Product Owners, BAs, summer internsIndustry Background Preferred: Financial services or bankingRole & ResponsibilitiesLooking for a detail-oriented and technically savvy Business Systems Analyst to support Retail Lending Servicing, specifically Credit Card journeys.Key Responsibilities:Conduct discovery and analysis across front- and back-end systems.Research APIs (documentation review, capability assessment, integration validation).Collaborate with Product Owners, developers, and stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.Translate needs into clear epics, features, and user stories with acceptance criteria.Partner with QA and development teams to support testing and validate solutions.Investigate and resolve production incidents (root cause analysis, customer impact, prevention).Document process flows, system interactions, and functional specifications.Required SkillsRequirements elicitation & documentation (user stories, use cases, process flows)Data analysis & data mappingSystems design knowledge (APIs, integrations, architecture)Modeling (process, data, workflows)Translating business needs into technical solutionsAgile collaboration & ceremoniesStrong communication skills (bridge business and technical teams)Soft Skills:Excellent written & verbal communicationStrong attention to detailPreferred Education:Employers have access to artificial intelligence language tools (“AI”) that help generate and enhance job descriptions and AI may have been used to create this description.
