Business Systems Analyst III- Commercial Servicing and Asset Based Lending

Overview This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following location: NC As Business Systems Analyst III, you will work with cross-functional global Technology teams in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. You will deliver strategic insight into business systems through complex analysis, reporting, and operational activities for Factoring Business applications. This role will be required to work closely with Product Owners, Delivery Leads, Operations, and Technology teams across the organization to define requirements for existing and/or new applications with focus on the modernization of legacy systems. The Business Systems Analyst III will serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for assigned systems to deliver business requirements, implement appropriate specifications, and will monitor for compliance and effectiveness. Assists in identifying and resolving process issues which may involve system testing or development. Many of our systems are homegrown, so you will quickly come up to speed to serve as an analyst and point of contact for all systems in our ecosystem. May also oversee the work of less experienced analysts in the work group. Responsibilities • Data Analysis - Sources, compiles, and interprets data. Analyzes data for accuracy and efficiencies, effectively communicates analysis output. • Identifying Requirements - Determines system requirements and communicates them through the use of specifications, reports, project plans, or other forms of documentation. Identifies issues that affect system processes and assists in correcting. Ensures compliance through testing and analysis. • Reporting - Produces advanced reporting based on data analysis, user input, and system testing. Identifies patterns, problems, and areas of improvement. May develop process enhancements based on analysis results. • System Support - Provides expert technical support for systems by responding to escalated inquiries, ensuring processes run smoothly, and working to continuously improve the end-user experience. Implements recommended modifications and enhancements. Serves as an analytics resource to wider organization or business units, offering guidance on systems and data output. • Develop expertise on our systems, in order to become SME. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operations Support OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operations Support Preferred: • Experience as a business systems analyst for financial systems • Must have experience working on Commercial Servicing and Asset Based Lending (ABL) Systems • Must be proficient in SDLC Practices • Data analysis and reporting capabilities, including familiarity with SQL, Excel, and presenting data findings • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal • The ability to write concise, clear requirements • Exposure to working in an Agile/Scrum environment • A high sense of personal agency and drive to improve - you self-identify questions or problems and drive toward solutions • Demonstrated experience administering or performing system analysis/configuration on other banking systems • Experience with informal leadership over other analysts or team members Benefits are an integral part of total rewards and First Citizens Bank is committed to providing a competitive, thoughtfully designed and quality benefits program to meet the needs of our associates.
