If your answer is yes, FirstBank is the number one place for you.A Brief Overview:The Business Support Representative performs a variety of simple and repetitive tasks to support the operations of a specific Business Unit. Tasks may vary according to the particular needs of each business unit but for the most part this position will ensure operational/clerical support by assuming the bulk of administrative tasks and will interface with internal/external customers as is required by the business area.What you’ll doPerforms clerical tasks related to different work activities (administrative, credit related or collections) as required by the assigned collections department.Writes, types, or enters information into computer, prepares correspondence, bills, statements, receipts, checks, or other documents; copies information from one record to another.Account Analysis for customer in bankruptcy (consumer products).Support the bankruptcy process for the Consumer Products.Stamps or numbers of forms by hand or machine.What You’ll Need:A minimum of six (6) months of working experience in a customer service, or collection environment.Twenty-four (24) credits toward an Associate or Bachelor’s Degree, or Banking course.One or two years of experience in a similar position.CompetenciesKnowledge of administrative and clerical procedures such as word processing systems and filing.Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet critical deadlines.Ability to maintain confidentiality.Customer and service oriented.Knowledge of office systems, such as Word & Excel.Preferably bilingual (write, speak in English and Spanish).Teamwork oriented.Communication skills.First Bank Puerto Rico is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer and takes affirmative action to employ Women, Protected Veterans, People with Disabilities, and Minorities regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation, and any other legally protected status.
