We are proud to provide high quality glass packaging for beer, wine, spirits, food, non-alcoholic beverages, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.Why do you want to apply? The OIPS operations is striving to be a world-class packaging solutions distributor and to become the model for engaging small and emerging customers for O-I globally.  O-I is a company that is committed to fostering an inclusive environment and offers opportunity for growth and advancement.  https://www.o-ips.com/Job Description:Territory:  Pacific NorthwestThe Business Manager (Glass Containers - CPG) responsible for effectively managing all existing and potential customers within an assigned product category and serving as the primary contact between the Company and its customers in the Pacific Northwest territory.They will be responsible for strategic accounts and account/business acquisition in a defined category across all channels.  They create and execute short and mid-term business strategies and performance according to the account plan (delivering the month, quarter, and year per plan).  Will work with all levels of the organization and will be responsible for relationships with global, key account leaders.The Business Manager (Glass Containers - CPG) will:Create and execute the account plan / own and manage requests for pricing / contractsBe Responsible for contract execution and follow-up on end dateMonitor the customer's financial situation in order to safeguard the interests of the companyAdapt the mix of products to the real needs and potential of each market, aiming at the strategic interests of the company and customer satisfactionMonitor the activities of the competition, aiming to provide the company with informationDefine and negotiate prices to be practiced for each client / productIdentify opportunities to prospect commercial investmentsIdentify projects to convert other packaging materials to glassMaintain the average payment term and default percentage of the segment within the company's goalProvides input and educates product management, marketing, and manufacturing organization on customer needs and issuesProgressively responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and landing new customers / new businessThe Business Manager (Glass Containers - CPG) should have:The ability to do lead adjustments as needed. Starts the commercial proposal process and supports the negotiation process as neededThe skills to Monitor the activities of the competition, aiming to provide the company with informationPrevious experience Achieving sales volumes (EBIT, Revenue, Physical Volume) committed in the company budgetExtensive experience analyzing and validating sales forecastsThe ability to generate plans to ensure broad penetration into mid-level accounts within assigned territoryPrevious experience generating, developing, and closing sales opportunities with a focus on the most profitable mid-level accountsThe skills to develop presentations to resolve/address customer issuesQualifications:Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience strongly preferred3+ years of sales industry or comparable experienceStrong analytical, decision making and problem-solving skillsMust be proficient with Microsoft Office and have Strong PC skills and ease of working with systems, with an emphasis on CRM platforms, Outlook, Microsoft Excel,   Microsoft PowerPoint, SharePoint and SAPAbility to work independently without supervision, but also work well with the team and other departmentsGood verbal and written communication skillsSelf-motivated and self-disciplinedTRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:  Travel: 25% - 50%  Additional Information:What we offer at O-I:Salary Range:  The expected salary for this position is around $88,000 – $140,000  and eligible for short-term incentive pay.   Actual pay will be adjusted based upon candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.O-I offers a very generous benefit package – some of the highlights are: Vacation time and paid holidays  Medical, dental, prescription and vision care coverage Pre-tax accounts Well-being program which includes opportunity to earn employer contributions Life and AD&D Insurance Disability Insurance 401(k) retirement saving plans with employer contributions Financial advisors to assist with retirement planning and financial wellness Employee Assistance Program O-I is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer committed to building a diverse, equitable and inclusive culture.
