Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP is a prestigious law firm seeking a Business Proposals Coordinator to support their efforts in securing new business. This role involves preparing high-quality responses to RFPs and RFIs, collaborating with various teams, and maintaining proposal content libraries.ResponsibilitiesAssists with drafting, editing and proofreading proposal responses, including tailoring content to meet the requirements of specific RFPs, RFIs and client surveysIdentifies, synthesizes and iterates on previously prepared content, ensuring accuracy, alignment with Firm messaging and consistency in tone and styleCoordinates directly with partners, other attorneys, business development colleagues and other administrative departments to prepare and confirm responsive information and meet proposal deadlinesOrganizes, evaluates, logs and tracks proposal requests, deadlines, supporting documents, stakeholder input and deliverables using internal systemsMaintains and updates the Firm’s proposal content library and other internal databases, including with relevant data and standard responses to frequently requested informationEnsures that all proposal materials meet internal quality standards and adhere to Firm guidelines regarding formatting, content, confidentiality and approval processesAssists in developing and maintaining procedures, templates and tools that support an efficient, consistent and scalable proposal processHelps track results of proposal submissions and maintains records that support evaluation, reporting and strategy developmentPerforms other duties, as assignedSkillsBachelor's degree required, preferably in journalism, public relations/communications, marketing, English, business or a related fieldAt least 1-2 years of prior experience in a professional services environment, preferably involving writing, editing, data tracking, project coordination or similar responsibilitiesStrong writing, editing and proofreading skills, including the ability to synthesize complex information and tailor content for specific opportunitiesExcellent organizational and administrative skills, including tracking deadlines, data management and maintaining detailed recordsStrong communication skills and the ability to independently collaborate with administrative colleagues, partners and other firm stakeholders with professionalism and diplomacyAbility to manage multiple assignments, prioritize and meet competing deadlines (both internal and external) and work accurately under pressureExtremely detail‑oriented, with a commitment to producing polished, high‑quality deliverablesAbility to maintain confidentiality and exercise a high standard of judgment and discretionMust be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPointAbility to work both independently and as part of a highly collaborative teamAvailability to work overtime, including nights and weekends, as neededExperience within a law firm and/or with proposals, RFPs or other client‑facing communications is a plusFamiliarity with knowledge management systemsBenefitsPaid time offMedicalDentalVision care401(k)Substantial health club discountsCompany OverviewCravath has been known as one of the premier U.S. law firms for two centuries.
