Business Manager

The Business Manager role involves supporting financial operations of client accounts, ensuring accurate budgeting and forecasting, and maintaining financial data integrity while collaborating with various teams.ResponsibilitiesAssist in developing and maintaining client budgets, scopes, and fee trackers in partnership with account and project management teamsSupport monthly and quarterly forecasting by updating data inputs, preparing variance analyses, and identifying potential risks or gaps for review with the Client Finance ManagerParticipate in monthly revenue processes, including revenue recognition preparation, accrual calculations, and maintenance of supporting documentation in line with agency accounting standardsReview draft SOWs, estimates, and change orders for financial accuracy and internal compliance before Manager reviewAssist in tracking scope changes, budget shifts, and out-of-scope indicators; escalate findings to account and finance leadershipMaintain rate card and pricing documentation and support the preparation of pricing analyses or client-facing financial materialsPrepare billing packets, reconcile hours and expenses, and ensure accurate invoicing in coordination with billing and AR teamsTrack the status of outstanding invoices and assist with follow-ups to support timely collectionsMaintain required financial compliance documentation, including materials related to healthcare industry processes and client-specific requirementsProvide support during internal audits, client financial reviews, and compliance checks by preparing schedules and gathering dataPartner with account and project management teams to help explain financial data, trends, and budget updates in clear, actionable termsProvide day-to-day financial support related to staffing, resource planning, and project financial setupParticipate in meetings as needed to support the Client Finance Manager with financial insights and materialsSkills1–3 years of finance, accounting, or business analysis experience (agency experience a plus)Strong Excel/Sheets and financial modeling skillsAbility to communicate financial insights to non-financial teamsBenefitsMedical coverageDentalVisionDisability401KParental and family care leaveFamily forming assistanceTuition reimbursementFlexible time offCompany OverviewProud to be an Ad Age Best Places to Work 2024 & 2025.
