About the Role As a Business Intelligence & Data Analyst Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Affirm's operations by leveraging your analytical expertise, technical skills, and business acumen to drive strategic decision-making. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, and Risk, to build scalable and robust data infrastructure, automate processes, and empower the operations organization to access and drive business insights. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain cross-functional relationships with Product, Engineering, and Risk teams to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness Own the roadmap to deliver scalable and robust data infrastructure and BI capabilities across all of operations Use technology to automate processes and tasks, improving operational efficiency and reducing manual errors Empower the operations organization to access and drive business insights through data-driven decision-making Maintain and build out a robust knowledge base and source of truth for all data and metrics Apply creative approaches and prototype predictive modeling and segmentation solutions to drive business growth Provide technical leadership and mentorship across operations, ensuring alignment with Affirm's overall technical strategy Maintain a solid understanding of Affirm's evolving data warehouse and provide technical guidance to stakeholders Essential Qualifications 5+ years of experience in an analytically-focused role, such as analytics, consulting, or finance Strong working knowledge of SQL and experience with Python or R Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead multi-functionally and influence external parties Ability to think creatively and critically, thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous work environment Passion for finding insights in data and driving change based on those insights Ability to communicate and influence both technical and non-technical audiences Preferred Qualifications Experience working in the fintech or financial services industry Knowledge of data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and predictive modeling techniques Strong understanding of data governance and data quality principles Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess a unique blend of technical, business, and interpersonal skills.
