Our scope includes enterprise applications, integrations, data platform and analytics, compliance automation, and all things IT.About the JobJoin our team as a Business Intelligence Analyst & Administrator, where you will collaborate with a small, high-performing team of Analytics Engineers and Data Engineers to design data pipelines, a data warehouse, an automated data catalog and internal tools. You will be a thought-leader on how Lambda manages its BI layer, building analytics tools, training users who are hungry to learn about data tools, and setting up Lambda to scale up during a hyper-growth period. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact and is ideal for someone passionate about leveraging data to drive decision-making. The role will report to the Data Platform Manager.Example Analytics Projects (Past & Present)Researching utilization patterns across GPU and Cluster typesAnalyzing Lambda’s GPU allocation across product portfolioAnalyzing marketing funnel performance and building customer profilesPartnering with Product Managers to define new metrics for product & feature launchesAssisting the FP&A team with metrics for Lambda’s investor decks and leadership meetingsDesigning and tracking KPIs across all departments with operational leaders and celebrating milestonesPartnering with Project Management Office to help build deployment gantt trackingWhat You’ll DoTableau / BI Tool Management: Oversee the administration and optimization of BI tools, ensuring they meet organizational needs and are aligned with strategic goals.Access Management: Implement and manage user access controls, ensuring data security and compliance with governance policies.User Training & Enablement: Develop and deliver training programs to empower users, fostering a self-service BI environment and enhancing data literacy across the organization.Analytics Development: Design and maintain analytics tools, dashboards, and reports to support cross-functional teams in achieving their objectives.Guide users in the appropriate tools for the appropriate data use case (Tableau, sheets, operational systems, SQL, etc)Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor and improve BI tools' performance, scalability, and reliability.Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions.Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions.Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of BI tools, processes, and best practices.Data Integrity: Ensure data accuracy and integrity, addressing discrepancies and improving data quality.YouHave a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.Have 5+ years of professional experience in BI, with a focus on tool management, user enablement, and analytics development. Experience in Tableau preferred.Have moderate SQL skillsHave experience working with DBT and contributing to a Github repositoryHave fundamental understanding of ETL processesHave soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.Work well in a small team environment and can prioritize projects in an agile wayCan adapt to a fast-paced hypergrowth environment and work within existing patterns while proposing and building more scalable solutionsNice to HaveDomain knowledge / experience supporting an FP&A team and finance KPIs (highly preferred)Domain knowledge / experience around AI models or data center deploymentsDomain knowledge / experience around supply chain management or inventoryDomain knowledge / experience around marketing funnel / sales funnel metricsSalary Range InformationBased on market data and other factors, the annual salary range for this position is $137,000-$198,000.
