Business Development Partner

We're looking for a results-driven Business Development Partner to secure speaking engagements, corporate training programs, and brand partnerships with global organizations. This is a fully remote, fully flexible, independent contractor role. It does not have a base salary, and is 100% commission-based (20% uncapped). Estimated commissions are $80,000 - $160,000 per year. This position is ideal for two types of people: those who already sell products and services and want to add to their current earnings, and those who want to step away from their current role and build their own book of business. For Professionals Who Already Sell Products and Services This position gives you something to sell when clients aren't ready to buy your current offering. It also provides a way for you to create your own bonus structure without leaving your current job. • It will allow you to strengthen your current client relationships, add new revenue streams without changing your business, and stay relevant with your customers while you are in wait mode. • It will allow you to broaden your client impact, because every organization is trying to close the skills gap and prepare its leaders for the future. Often, they need more than products and services...they need people that are ready to use them. This allows you to bring them a trusted expert that can accelerate everything they are trying to achieve. • It will allow you to get more than a commission. When you introduce our programs, you get a rare front-row seat in executive conversations that reveal how your clients think...the problems they face, and what moves they want to make next. That means the role offers more than commission; it offers access. It is a way to be in the room and to get insight on what you can help your clients with in the future. • It will allow you to attend select conferences or events and expand your network with senior leaders and influencers. Travel can be negotiated as a part of the event contract where appropriate. • Please note: Partners who engage in this work alongside other roles must ensure that there is no conflict of interest with their current employer and all work is performed independently. For Professionals Who Want to Build Their Own Book of Business This position gives autonomy. You have the freedom to use your network, influence, and strategic insight to build and scale your own business relationships. From speaking engagements and training programs to branded media partnerships, you'll be able to work with global leaders on issues that matter to them the most. In both cases, whether you are currently selling products and services or looking to step out on your own, you will receive 20% commission on every booking or partnership you secure, with no cap on earnings. What You'll Do • Identify and engage senior leaders who might benefit from reskilling in the areas of leadership, strategy, and digital transformation • Identify potential conferences that would benefit from our program content • Identify strategic partners that would benefit from custom media placement related to leadership development (e.g., airlines, credit card companies, technology organizations) • Pitch and secure keynote speaking engagements, professional development programs, thought leadership opportunities, and strategic media brand sponsorships • Negotiate contracts, speaking fees, and sponsorship agreements in alignment with our positioning • Collaborate with the team on proposals, presentations, and follow-up to close opportunities efficiently • Track and report on partnership pipeline and outcomes. Ideal Profile • 8+ years in business development, partnership creation, or consulting. • Established relationships with executives, association directors, marketing leaders, technology leaders, human resources leaders, etc. • Strong commercial and strategic communication skills. • Entrepreneurial, discreet, and results-oriented mindset.
