Business Development Manager - Waterloo, Walls & Ceilings NSW/ACT

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager focused on commercial projects, specification and market growth across NSW and ACT.MThis role combines a well established, market leading Waterloo portfolio with a high potential Walls & Ceilings category, offering both immediate commercial traction and long term growth opportunity. This is a field based, project led business development role working closely with specification, sales and installer networks, focusing on opportunity development, specification influence and project conversion, rather than account ownership.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage commercial project pipelines end to end
Build relationships with architects, designers, builders and installers
Conduct joint calls with specification and sales teams
Provide technical and product support across projects
Track activity and opportunities through Salesforce CRM
Spend the majority of time customer facing (approx. 4 days per week)
About You
We are seeking a candidate with proven experience in business development or sales within the construction or building products sector. The ideal person will be comfortable operating in project-driven, specification-led environments, and will possess strong communication and relationship-building abilities. A commercially minded, organised, and proactive approach is essential. While technical experience with walls, ceilings, or interior systems is highly regarded, it is not a mandatory requirement for this role.
