Business Development Manager (Palm Bay/Port St. Lucie)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead our sales efforts in Palm Bay and Port St. Lucie. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for growing our customer base through face-to-face interactions with new prospect customers, leveraging your product knowledge to deliver innovative business solutions that provide ongoing value to our clients.
Responsibilities:
Prospecting: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through various contact methods, including cold calling and in-person meetings, to secure profitable sales.
Pipeline Management: Effectively manage a pipeline of prospective customers, turning leads into prospects and following up with contacts in our CRM database.
Client Solutions: Understand customer requirements and develop solutions in accordance with their needs, collaborating with product specialists to meet with customers and identify areas for improvement.
Negotiate and Close: Successfully negotiate and move prospects through the next phase of the acquisition cycle, reaffirming deal details and securing necessary signatures.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to American Express's Code of Conduct, Sales Practices policies, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree preferred
5-7 years of excellent sales experience, with a proven track record of winning new business relationships
Experience achieving sales quota and goals through multiple product offerings
Experience in a highly-regulated industry
High learning agility, intellectually curious, collaborative, and growth mindset
Personal accountability and compliance-focused
