The purpose of the role is to build, grow and drive the business in the assigned geography. The role is responsible for both frontend delivery of targets and complement market distribution. Key Accountabilities • To act as business owner of the assigned markets; support all distributors and manage selling Lipton products by providing a central point of contact for guidance on contract templating, import processes, duty, taxes & local regulations, customs, licensing requirements. • To be the sales expert for the markets where there is local distributor but no local legal entity of Lipton present. Tea Export Company supports business growth and also transacts with local distributors. • To drive portfolio expansion through assortment solutions. • To work within Markets to design new models & unlock white spaces in terms of consumer groups (e.g. ethnic, religious minorities) & channels (e.g. travel retail, health & well-being). • Planning and Forecasting sales breakup for full year at a brand and SKU level planning to be shared and implemented with the help of distributors team. In addition to the above, you will be responsible for: • Leading growth in emerging markets and channels, liaising with local distributor teams for frontend delivery. • Driving business performance, growth & profitability in the distributor markets. • White space new revenue development: channel, markets/geographic, portfolio, partners • Identifying and developing potential partners • Distributors’ management, joint business planning and execution • Building winning market positions by identifying new opportunities and areas for growth and working with Distributor Managers in market manage end to end implementation from idea to launch. • Supporting distributor markets to identify, develop, define strong business relationships with GTM partners & e-commerce platforms and develop KPIs for distributor markets. • Consolidating annual plans and holding markets accountable to drive growth and profitability as well as increasing market share. Stakeholder Management and key interfaces • Internal: o GM, GDM MENA o Cross functional teams (supply chain, finance, marketing etc.) • External o Customers: including GTM partners and key accounts Skills and Experience Must Have: • Commercial degree, preferably in sales and marketing. • Minimum 5 years of experience, including 2–3 years at a managerial level within an FMCG business. • Solid background in business development, distributor management, and cross-functional leadership, with a proven track record of topline growth and bottom-line results. • Fluent in English; Arabic and/or a relevant local language an advantage. Nice to have: • Experience in the beverages or tea category. • Background in B2B, foodservice, or e-commerce.
