Position Summary:

Pulsar is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead growth within the Cruise and Entertainment sectors. This individual will be responsible for identifying, developing, and expanding strategic partnerships with cruise lines, entertainment venues, and related channels.

This role is ideal for a highly motivated “hunter” who thrives on building new business while also nurturing key accounts. The Business Development Manager will leverage Pulsar’s end-to-end product capabilities—from design through delivery—to create customized, trend-forward solutions that drive revenue and enhance customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within cruise lines, entertainment venues, and related markets
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers across target accounts
• Uncover opportunities and develop product solutions to meet customer needs
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets
• Partner cross-functionally with design, sourcing, and operations teams to deliver tailored product solutions
• Present Pulsar’s capabilities and product offerings in a compelling, consultative manner
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing and account growth
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform strategy and product development
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to expand brand presence and network
• Provide accurate forecasting, reporting, and pipeline management

Candidate Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of business development or sales experience
• Proven track record of driving new business and achieving revenue targets
• Experience selling a CPG product is preferred
• Experience selling to cruise, hospitality, or entertainment is a plus
• Experience selling giftable, novelty items, stationery, promotional products, or adjacent categories is a plus
• Familiarity with global sourcing, importing, or supply chain processes is a plus
• Ability to travel up to 15% to meet with clients and attend industry events
