About the role
The Business Development Manager, Agency shall lead, manage, and develop the distribution channel assigned to him/her in line with the company's objectives. This role will take care of all the Agents in the Northeastern part of Thailand.The incumbent is also expected to provide inputs and recommendations to the business partners under his/her channel for them to achieve their own business goals.
Job Responsibilities
Sales Development
Responsible for meeting and exceeding assigned revenue targetsResponsible for identifying market opportunities for business growthExecute strategies and action plans for generating new leads, business partners, and accounts such as conducting business orientation programs and setting exploratory meetingsAchieve recruitment target of new business partners such as insurance agents, sales agencies, and corporate accountsConduct training sessions on the sales process, product, and app to onboard, equip, and enable newly signed business partnersRun regular sessions and execute sales campaigns to create opportunities for new businesses and/or renewals with the end goal of activating all the business partnersReactivate & engage dormant agents, business partners and sales agencies to increase overall activity ratio
Sales Management
Submit a complete and accurate sales report/account status in a timely manner reflecting the sales pipeline and makes appropriate recommendations to improve overall sales performanceAnalyse sales statistics/reports that can be used as a reference in reviewing the past sales performance and predict future sales performanceEscalate and recommend appropriate action/intervention to concerns and issues encountered in their respective channelsCommunicate with internal stakeholders the contractual agreements and system integrations for seamless executionTo achieve key core KPI, including analysing sales performance and ensuring business quality achieve target such as Active Agents.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree with at least 5 years of experience in the Insurance industry, preferably in Life or General Insurance or in Corporate SolutionsExperience in agency recruitment, training, and salesStrong interpersonal skills and ability to quickly build credibility with new business partnersHigh energy and driven to meet sales targetsAdaptable and able to work independently and under pressureMust have a Driver License and own a carCurrently lives in any province in the Northeast of Thailand
