Join the team at Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company! Days/Hours of Work: Monday - Friday; 8 am to 5 pm. Job Summary The Business Development Lead is responsible for developing On-Premise business through prospecting and new outlet acquisition within the assigned territory. This role is prospecting for new business, acquiring new quality outlets, setting up new accounts and seamlessly transitioning outlets to existing routing and replenishment structures. Job Responsibilities • Responsible for acquiring On-Premise business within a specific geography. Utilizes prospecting tools and other methods including cold calls to generate leads. Seeks to secure new, competitive, and non-buying accounts. • Evaluates and completes Economic Analysis for contract renewals and negotiations. Prepares proposal analysis to present to key decision makers. • Enables seamless transition of outlets to existing routing/MDM structure. • Ensures that scheduled installs are prepared for and executed satisfactorily including follow-up to guarantee customers satisfaction is accomplished. • Tracks daily, weekly, and monthly call activity and performance measurements. • Handle customer support issues including customer support tickets (CST) within service level agreement (SLA) using problem solving, effective communication, and collaboration with other departments. Job Requirements • High School Diploma or GED is required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. • Minimum of two years of work experience required. • Minimum of two years in an outside sales position with accountability for meeting sales targets is required. Experience in cold calling is preferred. • Computer application and technology intermediate level skills. • Effectively communicates through verbal, written and listening skills. • Valid Driver's License, current vehicle liability insurance, driving record within policy guidelines including no major violations within the last three years. • This position requires you to use your personal vehicle during work hours with reimbursement. Proof of insurance covering business use is required at time of hire. Physical Requirements Field work intensive. Daily and weekly travel to local accounts and prospect sites. Lifting occasionally up to 50 lbs or less. Ability to professionally represent employer at the customer location required.
