As a Business Data Analyst, you will create chemistry by………. Utilizing your strong background in analytics-relevant technology information technology to work across the Precious Metals business to develop innovative and sustainable solutions and improved business digitalization, drive new developments, and work creatively on business challenges. Contributing to the architecture of robust cloud-based applications in Microsoft Azure to drive optimization, improve report development, and ensure data accuracy. Collaborating with IT and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements. Mining and analyzing data from company databases to innovate, improve, and standardize analysis processes and internal steering tools across the business. Developing reports to support risk mitigation efforts and turning insights into action by using visualization software to share results across a wide range of stakeholders. Leading projects with multiple contributors across the business portfolio to ensure effective and efficient execution within the data governance model. Your formula for success…… • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science , Data Science, Information Systems, or equivalent. Bachelors degree required, Masters preferred. • 5+ years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain, IT, or Business Management required. • Strong understanding of database architecture, data warehousing, data modeling, analytics, business analysis, and business insights • Strong understanding of database fundamentals as it relates to building and maintaining databases, data pipeline creation, data management, and upstream/downstream impacts. • Ability to translate complex analyses into clear, executive-ready insights and next-step recommendations that drive business decisions. • Experience using statistical computer languages (SQL, Dax, etc.) to draw insights from large data sets and develop reporting • Experience using data visualization and workflow management applications, experience with Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps preferred • Experience using data visualization and workflow management applications, experience with Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps preferred • Proficiency with the Microsoft data suite including Azure Cloud, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, SQL Server, and others is strongly preferred You @ BASF ECMS At BASF ECMS you get more than just compensation, Medical & Dental.
