The Business Data Analyst will work within Marketing, Analytics, and Engineering teams to tackle complex analytics problems, utilizing data to drive business improvements and support various initiatives.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze a novel dataset to recommend areas for the business to improveOperate and improve a core data product optimizing for multiple competing KPIsBuild new data pipelines to support tracking of a new business initiativeInnovate data modeling and data presentation to drive business understandingImprove prediction accuracy of our customer acquisition machine learning bidding algorithmsBuild reports and dashboards to help power the company’s decision makingDo customer segmentation analysis to discover where to improve Insurify productsSkillsBachelors in computer science, analytics, economics, or other STEM major requiredStrong quantitative and programming skills with a product-driven sensibilityQuick learning ability and a drive suitable for the startup hustleA friendly cooperative disposition and an eagerness to learnExpertise in and real-world experience with SQLMasters preferredPython (preferred) or RWebsite tracking.
