Our Business Customer Support associates are the voice of Metronet for our business customers. This is an in-bound call center position where you will be answering questions related to billing issues and/or general questions regarding our business services. This is a customer service-focused position where it is necessary to retain information and follow up with customers when needed. A successful candidate would have that customer service mindset as well as strong verbal communication skills, time management skills, and the ability to work efficiently and effectively multi-task in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Answers business... customer/client requests or inquiries concerning services and products and reports problem areas.
Utilizes various systems and tools to assist and service customers.
Maintains up-to-date working knowledge of all company products, services, and promotions.
Makes system recommendations based on customers' equipment specifications in accordance with customers needs.
Determines customer billing issues and provides solutions based on customer inquiries.
All other duties as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
High school Diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
At least 1+ year of related experience in a high-volume call center environment.
Must be detail-oriented with a strong ability to follow procedures.
Solid problem-solving skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
Proven ability to deescalate or persuade customers using exemplary Customer Service, Initiative, and Problem-Solving competencies.
