Business and Commercial Attorney

Litigation Associate Attorney Career Consulting Partners is collaborating with one of California’s premier business and real estate law firms. For more than 45 years, this firm has represented clients across a wide range of industries, building a strong foundation in litigation, corporate, tax, labor and employment, and environmental law. With more than 200 attorneys across six offices in California and New York, the firm is now seeking a mid-level Associate with experience in business and commercial litigation to join its Litigation group in the San Diego office. DUTIES: • Draft high-quality pleadings, briefs, motions, correspondence, and responses to written discovery • Participate in and take depositions, present oral arguments, and assist with trial and arbitration preparation • Manage cases effectively, including organization, strategy development, and deadline oversight • Collaborate closely with other team members and staff while contributing to a positive team environment • REQUIREMENTS: • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school • Active member of the California State Bar in good standing • 3 – 4 years of litigation experience, preferably in business, commercial, or real estate litigation experience • Strong oral advocacy, communication, and legal writing skills with exceptional attention to detail • Proven ability to manage multiple matters and work effectively both independently and as part of a team COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: • Compensation: $200,000 - $250,000 • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, and mental health resources • PTO, paid holidays, bereavement, sick leave, and paid parental leave • Wellness and other benefit perks like Equinox corporate discounts, On-site chair massages, flexible hybrid work schedule • 401(k) plan, bonus opportunities, tuition reimbursement, student loan refinancing, and transportation allowance LOCATION: • San Diego, CA • Hybrid Work Schedule Please note that we at Career Consulting Partners will be sure to keep your information private.
