What to Expect - Key Responsibilities

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for:


Providing comprehensive support to the Acting PMO Director and interacting with middle and upper management to ensure seamless project execution.
Creating clear and concise Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) to capture business needs and stakeholder expectations.
Developing training guides and conducting training sessions for internal and external clients to ensure successful solution adoption.
Coordinating with IT teams and Delivery Managers on project releases post-client testing signoff to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
Utilizing SQL server language to analyze data for requirement gathering and functional testing, and identifying areas for process improvement.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business needs, develop solutions, and implement process improvements.
Analyzing business data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, and developing insights to inform business decisions.
Developing and maintaining business requirements documentation, including BRDs, functional specifications, and test plans.
Participating in project meetings, status updates, and reviews to ensure project goals and objectives are met.


What We Require - Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:


A minimum educational requirement of a four-year degree or higher in medical or computer science fields.
At least 2 years of previous experience as an IT Business Analyst, or equivalent experience in a related field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong organizational, analytical, and administrative skills, with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a remote team, with a strong sense of self-motivation and discipline.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and identify insights and trends.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a flexible and agile approach to work.

Experience in the insurance and claims industry, or a related field.
Familiarity with medical claims processing, including knowledge of medical terminology and coding systems.
Scrum experience or certification, with knowledge of agile methodologies and project management concepts.
Understanding of sprint processes and project management concepts, including experience with project management tools and software.
Experience with data analysis and reporting tools, including SQL and data visualization software.
Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards, including HIPAA and ICD-10.
