Business Analyst - Latin America - Remote

Azumo is looking for a Business Analyst to lead software development initiatives and other personalized development projects. The position is FULLY REMOTE based in Latin America.As a Business Analyst, you will collaborate cross-functionally with business and technical teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects. The position demands a hands-on, results-oriented individual who is adept at gathering and analyzing business requirements, managing project backlogs, and ensuring effective task management throughout the project lifecycle.Responsibilities:Collaborate with business teams and technical engineering teams to understand, document, and analyze business requirements.Manage and prioritize project backlogs, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.Employ Agile methodologies to define and deliver high-quality solutions.Prepare and deliver project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.Work closely with development teams to ensure that requirements are translated into functional solutions.Monitor project progress and adjust priorities as necessary to meet deadlines.Create and maintain project documentation, including user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria.Actively participate in discovery processes - generating the documentation that will be useful for future phases.RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field4+ years of experience as a Business AnalystFluent in English (essential)Experience working within Agile environments, particularly Scrum and KanbanExperience with JIRA and NotionAbility to prioritize tasks, manage competing deadlines, and maintain focus on key objectivesStrong collaboration and interpersonal skills to work across cross-functional teamsThe candidate’s experience as a PM will be evaluated.Based in Latin AmericaBenefitsCompany benefits include:Paid Time OffTrainingUdemy Free Premium accessMentored Career DevelopmentU.S. HolidaysUSD RemunerationProfit SharingMaternity CoverageAt Azumo we strive for excellence and strongly believe in professional and personal growth.
