What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct research and root cause analysis to identify operational deficiencies and recommend solutions
- Develop forecasting tools and translate business requirements for IT development
- Lead or participate in project workgroups and conduct User Acceptance Testing
- Prepare materials for internal and external audits and review findings/reports
- Coach/mentor less experienced staff and assist with work assignments
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Minimum of seven (7) years' experience in an operational or analytical role
- Experience with StepWise rating tool required
- Knowledge of Healthcare industry and Project Management methodologies
- May require working knowledge of Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield products and services
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with insurance rating systems
- Knowledge of facility billing procedural (CPT/HCPCS) and diagnostic (ICD10) codes
