In this hybrid role based in Hawaii, you will have the flexibility to work from home and the office, addressing some tough challenges. You will be required to work in-office 1-2 days per week based on business needs. As a Business Analyst, your primary responsibilities will include creating and modifying operations and clinical recurring and ad-hoc data using various tools such as Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, SSIS, and Business Intelligence (BI) tools like SMART Analytics, Power BI, Reporting Services, Tableau, and Business Objects. You will collaborate with internal and external report owners to ensure that reports are prepared timely, accurately, and completely. Your role will involve working with and validating enrollment, claims, reimbursement, and clinical data, as well as evaluating and presenting information to facilitate management's understanding of results and impacts. You will effectively gather and analyze data for trending, tying data to business operations, and making actionable recommendations. Additionally, you will develop and manage data mining and data pulls from multiple data sources into designated SQL servers, Access, and Excel. Your analytical skills will be crucial as you create business reports, including the design and development of service management and regulatory reports and dashboards, utilizing automated updates, dynamic charts, formulas, and parameterized reports. Responsibilities

• Work with and validate enrollment, claims, reimbursement and expense, provider and clinical data.

• Evaluate and present information in a manner that will facilitate management's understanding of the results and impact.

• Gather and analyze data for trending, tying data to business operations and making recommendations for action.

• Develop and manage data mining and data pulls from multiple data sources into designated SQL servers, Access, and Excel.

• Analyze data and create business reports, including design and development of multiple service management and regulatory reports and dashboards, utilizing automated updates, dynamic charts, formulas, and parameterized reports.

Requirements
• 3+ years of experience in collecting, analyzing and presenting data and recommendations to management.
,
• Solid proficiency in Oracle queries, MS SQL server queries, stored procedures, Snowflake, database design, SSIS, and skills in writing Excel/Access VBA.
,
• Solid proficiency in Business Intelligence software and setting up reports from BI tools, including Integration Services, Power BI, Reporting Services, or Tableau.
,
• Experience in process/workflow documentation and ability to evaluate business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
,
• Demonstrated critical thinking and decision-making skills.
,
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
,
• Experience creating and presenting technical information verbally and in written form.

Nice-to-haves
• Healthcare experience within a managed care and/or hospital setting.

• Knowledge of clinical indicators, measures and terminology.
,
• Data analysis, cost management and trending experience.
,
• Programming skills: SQL, C#, angular, java scripts.

• ETL and SSIS knowledge.
