Business Analyst - Epic Tapestry 3099820 • Hourly pay: $60/hr • Worksite: Leading medical institution (Remote, Candidates must be located in the United States) • W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program • 40 hours/week, 12 Month Assignment A leading medical institution is seeking a Business Analyst - Epic Tapestry. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of reporting and analytics solutions for the Medical Center's electronic health record system by gathering business needs, documenting requirements, identifying appropriate data sources, developing reports, and delivering them to stakeholders. The company offers a great work environment! Business Analyst - Epic Tapestry Responsibilities: • Meet with stakeholders to understand business needs for data requests. Gather requirements, document, clarify, interpret specifications, and review for completeness and accuracy. • Design, develop, validate, and perform thorough functional testing of extracts, reports, and visualization dashboards • Manage the measures and metrics for assigned Epic applications and/or business lines. Assure that the metadata used for the Measures and Metrics catalog is meaningful, standardized, complete, accurate, and up to date. Note the content maintained in the Epic Metrics Catalog and use that as an anchor for the company metrics. • Manage the inventory of BI objects and outputs. Assure that the metadata used for the Analytics Catalog is meaningful, standardized, complete, accurate, and up to date. Business Analyst - Epic Tapestry Qualifications: • 5+ years of Medicare Advantage experience. • 3+ years of Tapestry experience. • Tapestry certificate is a plus. • Tapestry in one of these contexts: Tapestry claims, Tapestry benefits/eligibility, Tapestry membership, Tapestry encounter workflows, Tapestry reporting, or Tapestry-to-Clarity data validation. • SQL + Reporting experience: Able to write SQL queries themselves and work directly with data. This includes: Building or modifying SQL-based reports, creating datasets / performing data validation, supporting managed care /, CMS reporting needs, Using tools like Power BI / Tableau / SSRS (basic reporting skills). • Epic Tapestry data or Tapestry-driven workflows • Ability to translate business requirements into reports, queries, and metrics • Understanding of managed care, CMS files, claims, and membership. • SQL and healthcare reporting tools. • Strong SQL Datamart. • Risk adjustment is a plus. • Epic Clarity Data Model certification in one or more modules (EpicCare Inpatient, Hospital Billing, Prelude ADT, Radiant, Willow, Optime) or to be obtained within 120 days of hire.
