The Role: Business Analyst - Data Insights and Business Excellence
We're seeking a talented and motivated Business Analyst to join our Business Excellence and Enablement Group. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in analyzing project and business-related data sets to provide actionable insights that drive business decisions. If you're a recent graduate or have experience in a related field, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Develop expertise in using spreadsheets, Power BI, and other tools to gather crucial insights and analysis for high-level decision-makers
Ensure data integrity and system configuration by performing data entry, data proofing, and review
Design and develop analytics tools and platforms to maximize profitability, productivity, and efficiency
Research, collate, manipulate, analyze, maintain, and present data for business decision-making processes
Prepare and maintain interactive dashboards, produce regular reporting, and contribute to weekly and monthly updates
Support team members with project-related controls, including administration, procurement, payment, invoicing, reporting, and budgeting
Contribute to strategic projects and provide data-driven insights to drive business outcomes
What You Need to Have:
To succeed in this role, you'll likely have:
A degree in Mathematics, Finance, Commerce, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
Power BI knowledge and skills
Excellent Excel and data analysis skills
A passion for using data to identify and solve problems, and a desire to help others succeed
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
