As part of our Procurement Systems team, you’ll help keep that momentum going by supporting the supplier relationships and systems that power Purdue’s mission of discovery, learning, and engagement.
In this role, you’ll take ownership of the entire vendor onboarding lifecycle using the PaymentWorks tool to qualify, segment, and manage suppliers. You’ll be the connection point between key platforms—PaymentWorks, Ariba, and SAP—ensuring seamless data and process integration. Every day, you’ll engage with campus partners and vendors to resolve issues, improve workflows, and strengthen supplier relationships.
You’ll:
Oversee the end-to-end onboarding and maintenance of Procurement System vendors
Monitor and manage all incoming helpdesk requests, providing direction and timely support
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance system performance and implement new functionality
Apply strong analytical thinking and a customer-service mindset to improve supplier processes

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit
Experience or familiarity with business analysis, ERP systems, or supplier management tools preferred

What We're Looking For Education and Experience Required:
BA/BS Degree in Business, Management, Data, Finance, Communications, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or related field
6 months of experience in finance
An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered
Skills Required:
Experience working with Microsoft Office; possesses a developed skill set specifically with Excel
Excellent:
organization, problem solving, attention to detail, and customer service/soft skills
analytical skills
presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
Possesses and demonstrates the ability to learn the policies, procedures, and execution within system guidelines
Preferred Experience:
using an enterprise procurement system
