About the Role As a Business Analysis Manager in our Global Reporting team, you'll play a critical role in driving Starbucks's success by collaborating with business unit finance teams to deliver monthly and quarterly reporting packages to a senior audience, including the board and executive leadership team. You'll also be responsible for leading and enhancing our consolidated operating margin analyses. We're looking for a partner who can help drive change and efficiencies and deliver effective reporting. Key Responsibilities Create innovative approaches to complex problems and situations, conducting research including external benchmarking and utilizing statistical tools and scenario analysis to guide sound financial business decisions. Provide training, coaching, and guidance to colleagues to achieve business results, and perform first-level review responsibilities while mentoring junior team members. Work with cross-functional teams to set targets and deadlines, develop plans, lead analyses, measure results, and improve processes, presenting data to senior management, proposing solutions, and identifying opportunities for growth. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the business, staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to drive informed decision-making. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you'll need: A minimum of 4 years of experience in financial analysis, modeling, budgeting, and business planning. At least 3 years of relevant industry experience. A proven track record of contributing to and leading cross-functional teams, with a minimum of 4 years of experience. A strong ability to make recommendations to and influence decision-makers, with at least 4 years of experience. Project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications will make you a more competitive candidate: Advanced degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Professional certifications, such as the CFA or CPA. Experience working in a global or international environment. Knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools.
